In an announcement today, March 24, 2026, The Walt Disney Company said that the Disney Conservation Fund has approved grants to 25 organizations across 16 countries.
New Grants
Just in time for Earth Month in April, the Disney Conservation Fund will be bringing its total conservation investment to $141 million since it began in 1995. As of 2025, the total investment was $132 million, meaning this year’s grants equaled approximately $9 million.
Of this feat, Yalmaz Siddiqui, vice president of environmental sustainability at The Walt Disney Company, noted:
The Disney Conservation Fund embodies our Disney Planet Possible commitment to take meaningful and measurable action for a healthier, happier planet. These projects were selected for their ability to connect critical spaces for people and wildlife, backed by strong science, meaningful collaboration, and conservation programs co-developed with local communities, helping ensure restoration and rewilding efforts deliver real benefits for the people who depend on them today and for future generations to come.
Some of the grantee organizations include Save the Elephants, Bat Conservation International, the Ocean First Institute, Monarch Joint Venture, Proyecto Tití, and the Wildlife Conservation Network.
In a release, Disney highlighted some of the approved projects. For example, Bat Conservation International will be spending the next two years implementing “sustainable agriculture practices, restore and reconnecting eight key stopover sites spanning 675 miles, and plant nearly 140,000 native agave plants to create a connected nectar corridor.” This will help support pollinators, including the greater long-nosed bat, the lesser long-nosed bat, and the Mexican long-tongued bat.

Disney Conservation Fund Buttons
While visiting Walt Disney World, guests are easily able to support the Disney Conservation Fund. Guests can donate at least $1 and receive one of these buttons at participating locations. Often, you’ll find Disney Conservation Fund buttons at various locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; however, we spotted this one at the Seas Pavilion at EPCOT.
