Crime & Safety Series Of Dog Shootings Rattle Los Angeles Police are looking for the person or persons who shot two dogs in separate incidents, killing one of the animals.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Dogs were repeatedly shot in two separate incidents across Los Angeles in just over a week, and authorities are searching for the shooter or shooters. Investigators hope someone will come forward with information about the deadly spree.
The most recent shooting occurred early Sunday morning when a dog was shot and killed near 52nd Street and Avalon Boulevard. The slaying happened at 3:30 a.m., and police did not have a suspect description for the shooter. The shooting came nine days after another dog was repeatedly shot near 23rd Street and Santa Fe Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The first shooting happened at about 11 p.m. on March 29.
