I would personally like to wish the Tri-County Humane Society of St. Cloud a very Happy Birthday today!
Today marks the 50th year for TCHS, and what a roller coaster ride it has been.
I’m sure if you ask former Executive Director Vicky Davis about all the change she has seen throughout the years, you would be amazed at the strides TCHS has taken to become what it is today.

FROM THEN TO NOW…
The first TCHS was a converted gas station on Lincoln Avenue. Now its an amazing new center that helps support animals in so many more ways than many of us ever dreamed possible.
20 YEARS AGO…
Twenty years ago, TCHS was still adopting out unfixed pets, hoping adopters would take care of it. Now, every single dog, cat and rabbit that comes through the doors of TCHS is spayed or neutered in their onsite surgery center before they are adopted out. This action drastically reduces unplanned litters for so many pets in our community. With sometimes hundreds of pets to find homes for each week, it may not feel like it’s making a difference at times; but it is.

HELP CELEBRATE
If you would like to help congratulate TCHS for 50 amazing years today, you can do so in many different ways.
$10-Anyone who donates $10 or more will get a prize!
