They’ll be ba-a-a-a-ack
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed Wednesday night that he often feeds his grandkids the same oatmeal cookies he provides his animals.
According to the “Terminator” star, his granddaughters, Lyla and Eloise, line up with his assortment of horses, dogs, his trusted donkey and even a pig in order to receive the delicious snack, which the actor later reveals is really only meant to be eaten by horses.
Schwarzenegger, 76, revealed during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that the lineup happens every time his daughter Katherine, who married Marvel actor Chris Pratt in 2019, brings the girls to his California residence.
“When Katherine comes over with my grandchildren, they then stand in line,” Schwarzenegger told Jimmy Fallon.
“So I give a cookie to Lulu, then I give a cookie to Dutch. I give a cookie to Schnitzel. I give a cookie to the pig, and the two girls there like this just like the animals,” Schwarzenegger explained, prompting Fallon, 49, to start cracking up.

The former bodybuilder stated being a grandfather has been “fantastic.”
“So Katherine and Chris [Pratt], her husband, they come over to the house at least once a week,” Schwarzenegger tells Fallon. “And then I play with the animals with them. We have a great time. I put them on the back of the miniature donkey. And then one wanted to ride the pig. I said, ‘No you don’t ride pigs.’”
Katherine gave birth to her first child, Lyla, in August 2020 before having Eloise nearly two years later.
“How many animals do you have?” the late-night television host questioned.

“I have three dogs, Cherry, I call her Noodle, she is the little one. She’s 15 years old,” he said. “Then I have Dutch, which is Malamute. Then I have Schnitzel, which is a wonderful female big, big monster dog. Then I have the miniature horses, the miniature pony, Lulu and Whiskey, which is a miniature pony.”
“It’s just fantastic those animals and the pig, which is a new addition,” he gushes. “We’ve had the pig now for almost a year and that pig is really fun. And he loves to eat.”
According to the former politician, his day begins with all the animals lining up to get the cookie.
“They all come into the kitchen, and I feed them every day, every morning oatmeal cookies,” Schwarzenegger laughed.

Seizing on the joke, Fallon quipped that the actor should write a children’s book about it.
Schwarzenegger’s appearance on the talk show came after the former actor was reportedly detained in a German airport after failing to declare a watch he intended to sell at an auction while at customs.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the star was held by authorities after they found the Swiss brand Audemars Piguet wristwatch in Schwarzenegger’s luggage during an inspection.
“We have initiated criminal tax proceedings,” Thomas Meister, a spokesperson for the customs office, told the outlet. “The watch should have been registered because it is an import.”

Schwarzenegger was detained for nearly three hours and was not asked for any forms regarding the watch, which is reportedly worth more than $21,000.
“He was never asked to fill out a declaration form and he answered every question from customs officers honestly,” a source tells The Post. “He cooperated at every step even though it was an incompetent shakedown, a total comedy of errors that would make a very funny cop movie.”
After a lengthy interrogation where the actor was allegedly asked several personal questions, he was allowed to leave.
