JOLIET — The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office of Jim Glasgow has moved forward with two charges of cruelty to animals against a Joliet man from the 500 block of Sehring Street, Dezmon Greene. Thursday’s criminal complaint resulted from a Will County Sheriff’s Office investigation. The complaint was signed by Detective R.J. Austin.
According to Will County, Green is accused of cruelly treating, starving or otherwise abusing a female Cane Corso as well as a male Cane Corso. He also faces six criminal charges of violation of owner’s duties. Greene is accused of failing to provide a sufficient quantity of good quality, wholesome food and water for that animal. In total, Greene faces eight criminal charges and his crimes happened on Nov. 1, according to court records.
There is not a mugshot available because Greene’s criminal charges are not detainable under the SAFE-T-Act.
