‘Paws in the Park’ returning to Charleston’s Brittlebank Park in November

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Brittlebank Park is set to host the Paws in the Park event as part of Charleston Animal Society’s 150th anniversary.
The event will take place on Nov. 23 from noon to 4 p.m.
The event will feature an interactive 150th anniversary exhibit, a stage with live music performances and an adoption zone where you can meet your next furry family member.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate, which include free oysters and chili! The chili cookoff will showcase 29 of Charleston’s best local restaurants and amazing local chefs competing for the title of chili champion. Kids 12 and under are free, making this an affordable and enjoyable day for families. Other options like Smash City Burger and Cachitas will also be available.
For an additional $10, attendees can indulge in samples from nine local breweries in a commemorative glass, including popular favorites like Commonhouse, New Realm, Palmetto and Munkle Brewing.
The event will also have live music from Vallenato Flavor, Lauren Hall, and headliner Midnight City Band.
