DENNIS TOWNSHIP — No injuries were reported and all animals were accounted for after a fire destroyed a barn Wednesday night, the Dennis Township Volunteer Fire Company said.

Firefighters responded to the 800 block of Sunset Road in the Belleplain section of the township and found the barn engulfed in flames with a nearby home at risk, the department said.
The fire was under control by 7 p.m., the department said Thursday in a Facebook post.
Firefighters from Woodbine, Goshen, Leesburg, Heislerville, Avalon, Tuckahoe and Seaville; EMTs from AtlantiCare and Upper Township; the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office, the state Fire Marshal’s Office, State Police and Atlantic City Electric responded.
