ASU launches new conservation school with $115M donation

Arizona State University announced a record $115 million donation from former Walmart chairman Rob Walton.
ASU has been a leader in sustainability education, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field. Walton has donated millions to various environmental initiatives.
The money will fund a new School of Conservation Futures focused on conservation and training future sustainability leaders. ASU’s College of Global Futures will also be renamed for Walton.
Arizona State University will use a $115 million donation, the largest in the university’s history, to launch a new school focused on conservation and training the next generation of leaders to protect biodiversity and promote global sustainability.
