CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The 42nd annual Southeastern Wildlife Exposition returns to Charleston this weekend, bringing artists, conservationists, craftsmen and animals to the peninsula to celebrate wildlife and the great outdoors.
Since the first SEWE in 1983, the beloved event has grown and evolved into what the Lowcountry sees today with tens of thousands of people attending each year.
On Friday and Saturday, the event runs from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and on Sunday it runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Events and showcases are held throughout the weekend, including the famous DockDogs competitions, Birds of Prey flight demos and Busch Wildlife Sanctuary show.
The events occur in five locations: Marion Square, the Charleston Place Hotel, the Gaillard Center, the Charleston Marriott and Brittlebank Park.
Online ticket sales are now closed, but you can buy tickets in person at multiple places across the Charleston area. A 3-day ticket is $85, tickets Friday and Saturday are $40 and a Sunday ticket costs $35.
