2 suspects arrested in Juneau Co. after hundreds of animals rescued from home

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WMTV) – Juneau County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that two people were arrested after hundreds of animals were rescued from a home.
The Sheriff’s Office said the two suspects were booked on multiple animal abuse charges.
Deputies responded Friday to a Plymouth Township home after reports of animals on the loose.
The Juneau Co. agency reported 393 animals were found on the property. This includes:
126 rabbits
35 goats
Five horses
136 chickens
10 puppies
81 dogs
All animals were voluntarily surrendered to authorities, the Juneau Co. Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials thanked the numerous animal welfare organizations and shelters that assisted in the animal rescue. They are now working to get the animals proper medical care and eventually rehoming them.
